What it looks like in a UK hospitality business
The requirement came in with Natasha's Law in October 2021 and covers the name of the food plus a complete ingredients list, with the fourteen regulated allergens emphasised in the list itself, usually in bold. The test is whether the food was packaged before being ordered and is sold at the same site: a sandwich made this morning and put in the chiller needs a label, while the same sandwich made to order at the counter does not.
