Hospitality calculators.

8 calculators for the numbers UK operators run weekly — gross profit, labour cost percentage, staff turnover and what it costs, tips, holiday pay, stock variance and RevPAR. Every one shows its working, runs entirely in your browser, and asks for nothing in return.

Every tool

8 calculators, all free.

Nothing here asks for an email address or stores what you type. Defaults are ordinary rather than flattering, and each page says what its number leaves out.

Gross profit (GP%) calculator

Put in what you sell an item for, what it costs you to make, and the calculator gives you the gross profit percentage the way a hospitality P&L actually measures it — on the net, ex-VAT selling price.

Labour cost percentage calculator

Labour is usually the second largest line in a hospitality P&L and the one most often measured wrong, because the gross pay on the rota is not what the hours actually cost.

Tip pool and tronc calculator

Since October 2024 UK employers must pass on 100% of tips and allocate them fairly, with a written policy behind the method.

Holiday pay calculator

Hospitality runs on variable hours, which makes holiday entitlement a running total rather than a fixed number of days.

RevPAR calculator

RevPAR is the number hotels are compared on, and it moves for two different reasons that pull against each other.

Staff turnover cost calculator

What each leaver actually costs you once advertising, manager hours, induction and the productivity gap are added up — and what a ten-point improvement would be worth.
